2008 Prophecy

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Hi, I hope each of you had a great holiday time and the New Year is starting out with a good jolt. Those of you that did not clean out your closet prior to the first have the first 6 weeks of this year to get it done. I know that many of you have contacted me about things falling in these first few weeks, but pick it up and get it done for a better 2008. We are trying something new for the prophecy and it is being posted so you can down load it and actually hear Ethan’s words of wisdom. Hope you enjoy this and if so we will possibly do some more in the future.  Let us know how you like it. The best of 2008 and know it is a new beginning, so get off to a good start.

Love and Blessings to all of you Marilyn

October 2005

I usually listen to Ethan first and then work around his subject, but this month I have reversed things.  In fact it does seem the entire world is reversed.  I have watched the various catastrophes unfurl around the globe and witnessed too up close and personal the people who have been displaced, misplaced and cannot be replaced. Large groups of American refugees have been bussed around the continent to resettle in strange environs with new customs and foods. Now I know that most of you do not see the good old US of A in that light, but it is true.  I have lived around the country from sea to shining sea and it is different. We share a basic language, but it is not pronounced, constructed or defined the same each place. People who have lived most of their lives in the hot, humid South are going to high, dry deserts.  We are told it is good for them they have a shelter and a new community. I truthfully do not think they are greeted any differently than boat people or other tired and huddled masses we have made space for.

There are prejudices in this country; many do not want to admit exist. It is more than color, but wealth, education, neighborhoods, and anything else that can be used to define ones place in society.  With the hurricanes I have been able to hear many heartwarming stories on the air along with the heartbreakers. The cameras have followed the ravaged and the famous, as they waded through mud and water shuffling debris in search of a shred of life.  Some traveled down and choose some to showcase while others were ignored. I have not decided if they were too beautiful or too depressing. Our leaders marched forward to give their blessings to all assembled for the photo opportunities.

These people have been herded around like cattle from shelter to shelter, without choice of destination. Some were even loaded aboard planes and busses not knowing where they were headed. This would upset anyone who has ever had the privilege of choices in their lives.

One person has shared with me his experience of helping some of these people relocate to the Midwest.  The story is amazing of the father’s survival with his dog.  They were guarding the family home and each other, but the dog could not be rescued with his faithful owner.  Rats, snakes and alligators were his other companions as the winds whipped away his past security and the water baptized his new life with mud, pestilence, and debris.

This family is now established with a new home, schools and jobs in a different state and anxious to become part of the community and help others as they have been helped.

Everyone is not looking just for shelter, but for a life and a future. Perhaps we can place blame on a lot of different agencies, politicians and even God, but I would rather hear praise for those who make a positive difference. Those who are not people herders, but shepherds to lead them to new pastures.  Pastures filled with the future and not regret and recrimination.
