2008 Prophecy

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Hi, I hope each of you had a great holiday time and the New Year is starting out with a good jolt. Those of you that did not clean out your closet prior to the first have the first 6 weeks of this year to get it done. I know that many of you have contacted me about things falling in these first few weeks, but pick it up and get it done for a better 2008. We are trying something new for the prophecy and it is being posted so you can down load it and actually hear Ethan’s words of wisdom. Hope you enjoy this and if so we will possibly do some more in the future.  Let us know how you like it. The best of 2008 and know it is a new beginning, so get off to a good start.

Love and Blessings to all of you Marilyn

November 2005

I have been watching the memorial service for Rosa Parks in Washington, DC.  It was very inspiring to hear so many people speak of the impact her action had on their lives.  Oprah Winfrey said she would not be where she is today if Rosa had not refused to relinquish her seat.  Ted Kennedy spoke Robert’s words of dedication to change.  Cicely Tyson quoted Jane Pittman’s words of her climb in life.  Many political spokespersons were heard thanking her for her action.  They came from far and wide to honor this small, humble woman who in her dedication to change became brave.

I remember when the Civil Rights Movement began.  Having been reared in the South by Southerners, I was very aware of the anger, fear, and powerlessness many were feeling.  Things were changing and they did not understand why?  It had always worked before, why change it now? “Colored” fountains, restrooms, restaurants, schools, sections in theatres, buses, and trains were a common, unquestioned reality.  I went to college in South Carolina when thoughts of integration were being heard.  Girls I went to school with said their Daddy would take them out of school, before they would be allowed to share a class room with colored. I thought that was ridiculous, she would be on the farm and the “colored” would be getting an education.

Thank goodness I had Ethan as my angel, and somehow he shoed me the right way, love one another.   I am sure I was a disappointment to my parents, but I had to stand for what I thought was right.  I was not brave, but I sure was loud.  I moved to the North and found out there was no difference. In the South we said what we believed in the North we slandered the South and kept the blacks in their place, preferably not next door to me.  When selling a home in Elgin, Ill a black family looking at the home said they wished we would stay and they could buy next door.  They did not want to “bust” the area they just wanted to live in a nice place.  I am glad to see that so much of this has changed.

After living in Germany I realized that winning the war does not change the ideals of the warrior. You can see social change, but not hear idealistic changes.  Here in Anaconda we have been targeted by the racist.  I thought we had won that battle before, but here it is again.  Right here in RiverCity and it is called hate.  I love four letter words they really fill the bill, but hate is the ugliest of all.  If we allow this hate to continue whether it is for color, religion, ethnic ideals or the language you speak it will be the demise of this country.  The Untied States is an experiment and we can still be successful.  Remember Great Spirits one Commandment……..LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
