Hi, I hope each of you had a great holiday time and the New Year is starting out with a good jolt. Those of you that did not clean out your closet prior to the first have the first 6 weeks of this year to get it done. I know that many of you have contacted me about things falling in these first few weeks, but pick it up and get it done for a better 2008. We are trying something new for the prophecy and it is being posted so you can down load it and actually hear Ethan’s words of wisdom. Hope you enjoy this and if so we will possibly do some more in the future.  Let us know how you like it. The best of 2008 and know it is a new beginning, so get off to a good start.

For those of you that know me, Ethan was speaking to me and I am hoping you also get some morsel from it.  Of course, that is usually the case.  I have been having a very challenging winter and look forward to an easier path with spring here.  I think I have looked at all sides of this challenge, I believe I have come to some conclusions, I feel it was important to have this experience, and I know I do not want it to continue. Like the kid touching the hot stove crying, take your hand off the stove.  I unfortunately waited for someone to turn down the heat. That will seldom happen since we control our stove. Since I have dragged so many of you through the fire with me, I hope you got your portion of the lesson too. I know you cannot learn my part for me, but thank you for trying.

I have received so much good advice, but of course I know best how to be miserable. I think the advice I found myself most resenting and struggling against, were my words out of someone else’s mouth.  Once I got over those hurdles, and it only took six months, change began to occur. Imagine that, I had good advice for others, but not for me.  I am sure none of you has had that experience, and pigs fly. Funny how our words when spoken to others are filled with wisdom and compassion, but when hurled back at us in snapping voices are stupid and have a lack of feeling.  This gives me/us the opportunity to revalue our words, our delivery, and our intention. Words are like food and need to be served with our best preparation. Sometimes wisdom just dumps out with contempt, it should flow with compassion and understanding.  That which appears clearly to the observer, is masked in pain and frustration for the complainant.

People, who have struggled with life, experience mostly though the mask. When you cease to struggle, clarity frequently occurs. Now ceasing to struggle does not mean you give into adversity, but examine it.  Look for all the windows and doors that lead to change. There is always more than one choice, but you must explore to find them. That which appears to be the “only” choice and is not tasty to you, is not the “only” choice just the obvious one.
