Hi, I hope each of you had a great holiday time and the New Year is starting out with a good jolt. Those of you that did not clean out your closet prior to the first have the first 6 weeks of this year to get it done. I know that many of you have contacted me about things falling in these first few weeks, but pick it up and get it done for a better 2008. We are trying something new for the prophecy and it is being posted so you can down load it and actually hear Ethan’s words of wisdom. Hope you enjoy this and if so we will possibly do some more in the future.  Let us know how you like it. The best of 2008 and know it is a new beginning, so get off to a good start.

Well I will give you a hearty Ho, Ho, Ho and may this the season you look forward to bring you all you have desired. Now doesn’t that sound nice, but immediately Ethan said I was wrong.  You do not need desires, but needs to be met.  Remember how after 9ll everyone said WWJD (What would Jesus do)? I think now that it is the holiday time we should ask WWJB (What would Jesus buy).  I am sure some of the war toys, useless gadgets, and various clothing items would not be on the list.

But we must remember that this is not just Christmas, but the holy time for many beliefs.  I accidentally saw the 700 clubs and heard Mr. Pat Roberts state that America is a Christian country and should not allow the Liberals to steal it from us. That really stuck in my craw, I thought the diversity we welcome did not close the door to non-Christians.  If this is the case, I am not welcome here.  I am quite sure that most of my family would be in total agreement with the denial of anything not Christian. I know I have made no doubt of my beliefs and still many will try to sooth my words with “Of course, you are Christian. You believe in God and you believe in Christian principals”. This does not make me feel better, but more distant. Yes I do believe in Christian principles, but also Hebrew, Buddhist, Moslem, and all others that speak of love and peace.

Every Christmas I have reawakened hope for our world, and by June I am looking forward to the season. When we have those who are living in fear, hunger, and gold and without hope, we are failing not only them but Creator. In this time of energy need a lump of coal and an apple sound pretty good. Many of you will donate to a shelter, buy a secret Santa gift, and drop coins in the kettle, but do you know the need and how you can best serve to alleviate it?

Use this time to appreciate your family and friends, not with presents with true joy.  Bask in the warmth of those you are close to and let them know how much they mean to you. A simple letter to remind yourself and others of the wonderful memories and experiences you have collected together.

This is not meant to be a sad time, but to remind you of whey you are truly here and how great the gift of life is for everyone. Make no mistake it is a gift.  Unwrap it eagerly, savor the moments that come forth and use them to bring Joy, Peace, and Love for yourself and those you share with.
